We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.
The specialist assists in managing complex cases, facilitating return to work and functional recovery, working collaboratively with medical and therapy teams. Responsibilities include providing surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care, communicating with employers, and engaging in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Malpractice insurance coverage is required.
