The Physician role involves providing a wide range of clinical services in an urgent care setting, including diagnosing and treating acute conditions, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and managing minor injuries.
Requires medical school graduation, 2-5 years of post-residency experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.Must hold an active state medical license and have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, with adult and pediatric practice preferred.Responsibilities include patient examination, history taking, diagnostics, treatment, documentation, patient education, vaccinations, and supervising Physician Assistants/Nurses Practitioners remotely.Additional duties include acting as a collaborating physician for up to four providers and overseeing credentialing processes.Shift hours are typically 8 or 12 hours per day, with other duties as assigned. Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential.
