The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, emphasizing prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries (vaginal and C-section if credentialed), and postpartum follow-up.Care for newborns and offer pediatric services as part of family-centered care.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement and patient-centered initiatives.Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and maternal health.Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in community outreach, call rotations, and after-hours coverage, including hospital labor and delivery shifts.Qualifications include an MD or DO, completion of an accredited family medicine residency, additional obstetric training, an active medical license, and board certification or eligibility. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and ALSO are preferred. Salary ranges from $300,000 to $350,000 annually, with in-person work required.
