The Advance Practice Provider (APP), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
They evaluate, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients using advanced assessment skills in collaboration with supervising physicians.
**Qualifications:**
• Post Graduate Degree
• Licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant
• BLS and ACLS certifications
**Experience:**
• None required
**Skills:**
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions
• Proficiency in computer applications and medical record charting
**Mental & Emotional Requirements:**
• Manage stress and make decisions under pressure
• Handle multiple priorities and work independently
• Appropriately manage stressful or hostile situations
**Working Conditions:**
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
• Use of CRT monitor
**Physical Requirements:**
• Medium work involving prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and occasional exertion up to 50 lbs.
• Good manual dexterity, visual acuity, and coordination required
