Position Summary:
Assist in implementing treatment programs for patients across all ages under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established physical therapy practices and principles.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program (required).
- Experience:
- None required; one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or PTA is preferred.
- Certification/Licensure:
- Active licensure as a PTA with the Texas ECPTOTE (required).
- Current BLS certification, obtained within ninety (90) days of hire (required); must remain active.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement specific treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
- Follow accepted therapy practices and principles.
- Maintain licensure and certifications in good standing.
