Job Summary:
This full-time Audiologist provides high-level audiologic care within a team-based environment, efficiently working in a fast-paced ENT clinic alongside a multidisciplinary team.
They assess and treat patients across all ages for hearing, balance, and communication disorders, utilizing diagnostic tools and delivering diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate hearing loss severity using appropriate equipment across the lifespan.
- Perform vestibular assessments, interpret results, and counsel patients on balance issues.
- Provide hearing aid fittings, programming, and counseling, with familiarity or willingness to work with various manufacturers and implant devices.
- Conduct tests like audiometry, VNG, EcochG, and ABR/ASSR, including on newborns.
- Adhere to documentation standards, ensure compliance with regulations, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Fit patients with custom and non-custom hearing and water protection devices.
- Maintain professional standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology (Ph.D. or Au.D.) required.
- Preferred experience in Epic EMR utilization.
- Valid Audiologist License in the state of Texas required.
- ASHA Certification preferred.
