Registered Nurse – Acute Care – MedSurg Oncology – Full-Time Night

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse on the Medsurg Oncology Unit provides high-quality, safe patient-centered care through a proactive, team-based approach.
They assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care using evidence-based practices, ensuring individualized treatment that respects cultural diversity.
The nurse partners with patients and families, fostering effective communication and shared decision-making.
Responsibilities include: coordinating care, documenting accurately, supporting performance improvement initiatives, and participating in research and evidence-based practice.
They serve as mentors, uphold professional standards, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulations, and safety standards.
The role involves developing protocols, optimizing resource use, and contributing to a collaborative, respectful clinical environment.
Qualifications: Requires an RN license (single or multi-state), Basic Life Support certification, and a nursing degree (Associates or Bachelor’s preferred).
Experience & Skills: Less than one year of clinical experience post-nursing education; strong critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and a commitment to professional growth.
