Role: Seeking a flexible PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and develop speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. The role involves providing patient-centered services across various settings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and revise speech therapy treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
- Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and refer to community resources.
- Conduct patient assessments, establish ongoing treatment programs, and develop realistic discharge plans.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education per departmental protocols.
- Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
- Promote a positive, respectful environment, demonstrating excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Participate in professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and BLS certification.
- Effective communication, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
This role offers opportunities for weekday shifts and requires a minimum of two weekend days per month. The candidate must be committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
