Outpatient Clinic Charge Nurse (RN)

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Charge Nurse leads daily unit operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based models, supporting interdisciplinary teams to deliver personalized care. The role involves clinical oversight, staff coordination, resource management, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.

• Key Responsibilities: Make patient assignments, monitor patient flow, conduct rounds, evaluate care quality, and collaborate with physicians and staff. Ensure compliance with standards, support staff development, and foster a culture of safety and excellence.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with management, promote teamwork, and participate in interdisciplinary planning. Serve as a resource for operational and clinical knowledge, mentoring team members, and supporting shared governance.
• Qualifications & Skills: Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; preferred experience as a relief charge nurse. Strong clinical, leadership, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are essential. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and proficiency in technology are also required.
