Sanitation Associate

Role Overview: This position involves unloading trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing products within a warehouse environment. It provides support across various tasks such as sanitation, inventory control, and assisting with product selection. Responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment, fueling and cleaning trucks, verifying product accuracy, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Duties:

• Unload products, break down pallets, and organize items into appropriate storage locations.
• Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of various grocery products, including perishable goods.
• Assist with sanitation tasks and truck maintenance, including fueling and cleaning.
• Verify product quality and accuracy against purchase orders and labels.
• Participate in order picking, palletizing, and labeling for customer shipments.
• Operate power industrial equipment like pallet jacks and high-lift trucks.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and reporting issues.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in multi-temperature areas.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse setting, adhering to instructions and deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse experience and operating industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, follow safety practices, and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
