Job Summary
Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, implements specific treatment programs for patients across all age groups in accordance with accepted physical therapy practices and principles.
Qualifications
Education
- Required: Associate degree from a CAPTE-Accredited Physical Therapy Education Program.
Experience
- Required: None
- Preferred: One (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapy Aide or PTA.
Certification/Licensure
- Required: Current licensure as a PTA with the ECPTOTE, active and in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within ninety (90) days of hire, and maintained in good standing.
Key Duties
- Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision.
- Provide care to diverse patient populations, from neonatal to geriatric.
- Maintain licensure and certifications required for practice.
