Role & Responsibilities:
Planning and executing individualized physical therapy programs across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric patients. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Supervises positions such as Physical Therapy Assistant, aides, and students/observers.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires ability to perform physical duties with or without accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent movement, and assisting patients. Must be able to handle emergency situations, wear protective gear, and work in potentially infectious environments. Physical activities involve sitting, walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting, often under variable conditions.
Key Duties:
Develop treatment plans, coordinate care, supervise staff and students, and ensure patient safety. Maintain physical stamina and mobility to adapt to various clinical tasks.
Physical & Visual/Hearing Requirements:
Must see with corrective aids and hear clearly with assistance. Capable of performing necessary physical activities and making frequent location changes. May be exposed to contagious diseases, chemicals, and require irregular hours and protective equipment.
