Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests, guiding patients through active and passive exercises, using specialized equipment, managing wound care, and instructing patients on assistive devices and postural techniques.
They conduct evaluations, monitor progress, and document patient outcomes for team review.
The role may involve supervising staff and training students or workers in therapy techniques.
Qualifications & Skills: A doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required after certain regulations; candidates must be licensed as a Physical Therapist and hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional preferred certifications include Pelvic Health.
Candidates should have experience in physical therapy, with specific requirements for licensure and certifications as outlined.
Must obtain certain certifications within ninety days if not already possessed.
