Seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a trauma surgery locum position in Robbinsdale, MN, from May to July.
- Primarily serve as trauma hospitalist rounder, with potential for ED consults, trauma activations, and procedures based on experience.
- Work in-house with no call, managing 10-14 patients daily (non-ICU), 6 ICU patients, and 2-15 ED admissions/trauma alerts per 24 hours.
- Must have MN license, PA or ACNP certification, and ATLS, PALS, ACLS certifications.
- Inpatient experience in trauma, ICU, or orthopedics (minimum 1 year) preferred.
- Procedures may include vent management, chest tube insertion, central/arterial lines, suturing, though not required.
- EMR: EPIC; flexible schedule, up to 40 hours/week, pay rate $130-$145/hour.
