Role Overview:
We are seeking a licensed or registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct patient care in the home environment, including assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation based on physician orders. The OT instructs patients and families in treatment procedures, re-evaluates progress, and adapts therapy plans to maximize benefits. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare practitioners is essential to integrate occupational therapy into comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid Driver’s License and Occupational Therapist License
- No prior experience required
Responsibilities:
- Instructs patients and families in occupational therapy activities and use of assistive devices
- Re-evaluates patients to modify treatment plans accordingly
- Coordinates with physicians and other practitioners for optimal care
