Role & Responsibilities:
The Home Health Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions within an interdisciplinary environment. They contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement while adhering to professional, ethical, and qualification standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with a preference for experience in relevant settings. The candidate must hold a valid Texas Driver’s License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and relevant licensures. Reliable transportation and auto liability insurance are mandatory. Additionally, the role demands strong accountability, flexibility, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Education: DPT (required after 2015), with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in physical therapy is preferred, with specific requirements based on years and type of experience.
- Certifications & Licenses: Licensed Physical Therapist, BLS, auto liability insurance, and valid driver’s license (required). Certification and licensure types must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
