Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute care orthopedic surgical setting.
Responsibilities:
Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices.
Delivering patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
Partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education.
Ensuring documentation and collaboration with the healthcare team to promote safety and quality outcomes.
Participating in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Mentoring peers, supporting resource management, and developing protocols to optimize care.
Adhering to organizational policies, clinical standards, and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and technology skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies professionally.
