Role Overview:
Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
- Develop and modify individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Implement interventions to achieve desired outcomes and evaluate patient progress continuously.
- Ensure accurate documentation and demonstrate professional accountability and ongoing self-development.
- Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and maintain quality control.
- Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and team collaboration.
- Provide patient education tailored to age, cultural, and developmental needs, utilizing appropriate teaching strategies.
- Coordinate care with team members, delegate tasks appropriately, and advocate for patients as needed.
- Active Registered Nurse license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, with ACLS renewed within 1 year.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Experience in clinical care, with strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
