Role: The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team on a MedSurg Cardiac unit.
Responsibilities:
Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
Delivers relationship-based care tailored to patient demographics and cultural diversity, engaging patients and their families through effective communication and education.
Coordinates safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards.
Supports performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
Actively participates in professional development, mentoring, and maintaining competencies and certifications.
Contributes to resource planning, protocol development, and adheres to all policies and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN licensure (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills; proficient in technology and time management.
