Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care as part of a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key communication link between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist in care planning and deliver care according to established protocols.
- Prioritize and coordinate daily patient flow to optimize outcomes and patient experience.
- Document assessments, care provided, patient education, and incidents accurately.
- Advocate for patients by listening to concerns, providing education, and communicating effectively with families and staff.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing education, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Mentor and support peers, uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards, and engage in shared governance activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Licenses and certifications: RN license, BLS certification (Instructor or Provider), and multi-state licensure (RN-COMPACT) or single-state RN license.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
