Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care in a clinical setting. They practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, and organizational standards, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and safety protocols.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based methods. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care, collaborating effectively with patients and families. Coordinate and document safe care delivery, participate in performance improvement activities, and support research utilization. Serve as preceptor or mentor to promote workforce development. Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.
Qualifications: Requires an associate’s or diploma nursing degree; bachelor’s preferred. Must hold an RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Less than one year of clinical experience is preferred, with clinical hours completed during training.
