Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by shared governance and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, ensuring cultural sensitivity and involving patients and families in care planning.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering teamwork through effective communication and collaboration across disciplines.
- Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring colleagues, and serving as a preceptor.
- Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to organizational policies, and participate in data collection and protocol development.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, optimizing resource use and contributing to safety and quality goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor of Nursing preferred; licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in single or multi-state compact.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Less than one year of clinical experience preferred; recent graduation from an accredited nursing program acceptable.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth.
