We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee resident care and staff supervision, ensuring high-quality services in compliance with policies and the guidance of the Director of Nursing (DON).
Qualifications:
- Accredited nursing program graduate with current Kansas licensure
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Responsibilities:
- Complete and maintain accurate resident records during admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Prepare and administer medications as prescribed
- Assist with resident admissions, transfers, discharges, and related arrangements
- Perform medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection
- Collaborate with consultants and implement recommended changes
- Investigate and report complaints and grievances
- Conduct daily resident checks and report on their well-being
- Keep the DON informed on resident and staff status
